A collection of some of the projects I completed throughout my MLIS education at Kent State, which highlight my focus in information access and discovery through a justice-oriented lens. These projects also demonstrate that I have met the Kent State iSchool's five Program Learning Outcomes, which are aligned with the Standards set by the American Library Association. These PLO's are as follows:

PLO 1: Apply the field’s foundational theories, principles, values, ethics, and skills to every day practice.

PLO 2: Critique and synthesize research and identify appropriate research methodologies to solve problems in the field.

PLO 3: Analyze and engage in the changing cultural, educational and social roles and responsibilities of librarians/information professionals and
the environments they work in within the global society.

PLO 4: Evaluate systems and technologies relevant to a particular information context.

PLO 5: Identify needs and connect individuals and communities with information that engages and empowers them.
